Clean-Up Day 2016

The City of Ivanhoe will be conducting its Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 14th. The clean up will run from 7:30am – 3:00pm. Items can be brought to the dumpsters at the corner of Norman St & Railroad St or taken to the Lincoln County Landfill.

Appliances and white goods (furnaces, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, water heaters, trash compactors, etc) will be free of charge.

Electronics (tv’s, laptops, monitors, devices with a picture tube/screen, etc) need to have a tag on each item which can be purchased from the City Shop for $5.

All items will need to be brought to the clean up site from 7:30am – 3pm or to the Lincoln County Landfill from 8am – 12pm on Saturday, May 14th. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Fred or Ardy at the City Shop.

WILL TAKE:

  • All regular garbage must be in bags
  • Articles too big for bags and not recyclable
  • Construction materials
  • Electronics (televisions, printers, computers, VCRs, monitors, etc)
  • Furniture
  • Empty Paint cans

WILL NOT TAKE:

  • Branches & Yard Waste – These items can be taken out to the tree dump.
  • Shingles & Concrete – These items can be taken out to the Lincoln County Landfill at your expense.
  • Paint, Lightbulbs & Other Hazardous Materials – These items can be taken out to the Lincoln County Landfill at your expense.
  • Tires – These items can be taken out to the Lincoln County Landfill at your expense.

If you have any questions about City Clean Up Days, call the City Office at 694-1738 or the City Shop at 694-1200.

If you are unable to bring your items to the drop off site, call Fred at 507-215-4079 prior to May 14th to schedule a pickup.

Agricultural Land Rent

ADVERTISEMENT

Notice is hereby given that the City of Ivanhoe will receive sealed bids for agricultural land rent in the Ivanhoe Industrial Park.

The Bids must be filed with the City Administrator, 401 North Harold Street, Ivanhoe, MN not later than 4:30PM, October 26, 2015. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Council Meeting, which begins at 7:30pm. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date.

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Ag Land, Ivanhoe Industrial Park. If forwarded by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be sealed in another envelope, with the notation “Bid Enclosed” on the face thereof, and addressed to the City of Ivanhoe, 401 North Harold Street, Ivanhoe, MN 56142.

Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities therein.

Clean Up Day ~ May 30th 2015

CITY CLEAN UP DAY – 2015

The City of Ivanhoe will be conducting its Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 30th. The clean up will run from 7:30am – 3:00pm. Items can be brought to the dumpsters at the corner of Norman St & Railroad St or taken to the Lincoln County Landfill.

Tires need to have a tag on each item which can be purchased from the City Office and will vary depending on tire sizes.

The tags may be purchased at the City Office 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday thru Wednesday and from 7:00am – 6:00pm on Thursday.

All items will need to be brought to the clean up site from 7:30am – 3pm or to the Lincoln County Landfill from 8am – 12pm on Saturday, May 30th. Unless other arrangements have been made with Fred or Ardy at the City Shop.
